Taylor began her journey with YouTube, at first creating ASMR videos using her smartphone. PewDiePie was her star in a video about gaming shortly after reaching 50,000 subscribers. The video was uploaded one and a half months after the release of her first YouTube video. Taylor stopped making videos for her Youtube channel after 2 months, and was more than 100,000 subscribers. It was due to technical issues related to the new equipment she was using, as well as her awe-inspiring popularity. In August 2022 after having a hiatus of several months, Taylor began making videos like the ASMR 10 triggers to help you sleep (35 million hits). ASMR Twenty Triggers to Sleep which was very popular in July of 2017 has been viewed by over 38 million viewers as at August 20 2012. When she reached 1 million YouTube users, she was featured in a Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. Wired UK, in its February 2019 issue estimated her earnings at $1000 per month through her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta) and Elaine Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta), were his parents. The two are born to German, English, Swedish and Norwegian descent. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler, Alberta. Three sisters she shared with lived on the family's farm of wheat. She was 17 when the agent of her modeling agency spotted the model while waiting in line at a theater.
